We are presently expanding our cross-border capital markets capabilities, and we recently established an investment banking and sales office in Sydney, Australia. Additionally, Friedman, Billings, Ramsey International, Ltd. (FBRIL), based in London, is now a member of the London Stock Exchange and the Euronext. FBRIL, comprised of an investment banking team and a sales and trading unit established nearly a decade ago, specializes in institutional brokerage and corporate finance and covers the United Kingdom and continental Europe.
FBR believes that the independence and integrity of our Research team are paramount to our mission. FBR Research is completely independent from FBR Investment Banking.
